Installing Other Hardware

Several other hardware items are used in most, if not all, applications. Shelf end caps cover cut or exposed ends of shelving. Corner supports are used to support two shelves when they are installed in corners. To install corner supports, simply fit the support under the deck wires of one shelf and over the wires of the other.

Joiner plates connect shelves when a wall is too long for one shelf or when two cut shelves must be connected. Joiner plates are placed vertically when used with wardrobe shelving and horizontally when used with SuperSlide^® shelving. Simply place one half of the joiner plate set behind the shelf lip so that wires rest in openings, place the other half into position so that the edges of the plates align, and screw the two pieces together. You should also use support brackets where two shelves are joined to ensure adequate support.
